A question about an acoustic folk duo??

I was wondering if anyone knew the artists that have a music video on VH1 these days. I think it's during the Nocturnal State program late at night, but the only thing I can give you is that the man is scruffy with a beard and plays an acoustic guitar while the woman plays the piano or cello. I forget. But it is an acoustic love song and in the video it follows their lives and it leads up to them actually recording the song in the studio. Somwhere in the music video I think they're even playing the song in a music store. Anyway, I know there's not much to go off from that, but I love the song and was wondering if I could be an artist's name to it. Any help would be amazing. Thanks a lot.
