Tripping, and spooky horses.?
Along with training methods to decrease spookiness you can also get supplements that will mellow out your horses which makes them spook less often. The tripping can be caused by many things. Could be overgrown feet, poor footing where you're riding, or they could not be paying attentions to their feet. They could just be bored or tired. To help that make sure the footing wherever you're riding is correct and get the farrier to check their feet out. If I suspect my horse aren't engaged or paying attention I do weird things. I make random turns, and frequent circles. I don't just ride around in a circle over and over again. If they're just not watching where they put their feet I set up a bunch of ground poles with different lengths in between them so the horse really has to think about where it's putting it's feet. For your last problem. Do you pasture your horses with other horses? Just try to socialize them regularly with other horses so it becomes not a big deal when you ride with other horses.
