Do you think that someone who truly wants to commit suicide should be allowed to do so?
I don't think that some who "truly" want to commit suicide should be allowed to. Their mind is not "thinking straight". If they were happy they would not want to do it. So they need to think positive. About what they have instead of don't have. I think that the mental health system should help but also the people around that person (friends, family, coworkers) should help too and work hard to not let it happen. Here's what I think, a lot of the people who commit suicide to not realize how good their life really is. I say this because I think that sometime they are so busy worrying / thinking about how they feel that they don't stop to see how others feel about them. Ok, let say someone does commit suicide, what's happens then all the people that loved that person are left here on earth saddened wondering why this person did this and why they didn't come to them. I personally think there are only benefits to stopping someone from committing suicide. Life ALWAYS gets better. NO MATTER how long someone thinks their depressed. ONE DAY it will get better.
